A business has tax obligations.  As a business owner you must comply with all applicable tax requirements at the Federal, State and Local levels.  These are the tax requirements you must be familiar with.  Tax obligations are incurred depending on the nature of the business.  For example, you may not have to collect Sales Tax if you are selling items on the Internet.  Where as if you were to sell the same items in a Store Front you will be obligated to collect and pay the Sales Tax to the appropriate municipalities (City, State).
