MBDA (Minority Business Development Agency ) |
MBDA
provides funding for a network of Minority
Business Development Centers (MBDCs), Native
American Business Development Centers (NABDCs),
and Business Resource Centers (BRCs) located
throughout the Nation. The Centers provide
minority entrepreneurs with one-on-one
assistance in writing business plans, marketing,
management and technical assistance and
financial planning to assure adequate financing
for business ventures. The Centers are staffed
by business specialists who have the knowledge
and practical experience needed to run
successful and profitable businesses. |
National Association of Minority Contractors
(NAMC) |
They address the needs and concerns of minority
contractors. Seek out opportunities for minority
contractors. They focus on construction industry concerns
common to African Americans, Asian Americans, Hispanic
Americans, and Native Americans. |
National Minority Business Council (NMBC) |
In addition to offering financing to small minority and
women owned businesses they also host overseas trade
delegations to foster the development of trade between
minority and women owned businesses and overseas
businesses. They also provide contracting opportunities
information. |
National Minority Supplier Development
Council |
It provides a direct
link between corporate America and minority-owned
businesses. It helps minority businesses to get contracting
opportunities with large companies. Also provides contract
funding assistance. |
