A trained employee is a productive employee.  You can't grow your business without trained and productive employees.

You have to train your employees on the tasks that you want them to perform.

Over time the way that critical tasks are performed in a growing business will change as the the business evolves.  It is critical that you continually evaluate the training that is necessary for employees to continue to upgrade their skills and provide quality service to your customers.

Frustration can set in when employees feel that they’re not properly trained for tasks that you’re giving them.

When employees are trained and confident in their abilities they feel that they’re contributing to the success of the business.

Do these things to train your employees so that they have the necessary skills to do the assigned tasks.

Develop a training plan for each position based on the job description.

1.  Identify someone to conduct the training with the new employee.

2.  Set aside time (30 minutes, 1 hour, etc.) on a daily or weekly basis to do training.

3.  You can also hire someone from the outside to come in and give your employees the training they need.
