Payment of state sales tax
depends on your sales and your state's regulations.
In
general, if you sell a product, you usually have to pay
sales tax. If you sell a service, you may not have to
pay a sales tax. For example: you sell finished
photographic portraits. The service you
provide—photography—may not be taxable, but the finished
product is.
Because regulations vary greatly from state
to state, check with an accountant who is familiar with
the tax laws in your area. |
