Registering for Accreditation:
There are
businesses that provide a “Seal of Approval accreditation”
service to websites. The seal is supposed to be a sign to
anyone visiting your website that you engage in fair
business practices. Companies pay for this service in order
to give credibility to their website. The drawback is that
many of the companies that provide this service do so
fraudulently. They take your money and give you a seal do
display on your website. However, it is meaningless because
the seal of approval is based solely on the organization
offering the service.
Protect your business:
Get this service from the BBB. The BBB has a reputable
history and is recognized by consumers as a leading force in
this area. |
