Directory Listing Scam:
This is where someone claimed to be representing a company that produces call you and ask you if you wanted to renew your directory even though you never subscribed to the Directory Listing before.  They attempt to convince you that this is something that you or someone in your organization had already agreed to and all they are asking you to do is to renew the subscription.  They convince you to make a payment.  But, after you make the payment you never hear from them again or see the Directory.  The Directory do not exist.  To steer clear of the law, some businesses will reportedly print--but never distribute--a few copies of a directory to have something to show for their efforts.
