Small Businesses That Hire Veterans |

One of the first acts by the new congress the House of
Representatives was to passed
H.R. 22, the Hire More Heros Act.
The bill
calls for small businesses that hire veterans already
receiving health care at the Department of Defense (TRICARE)
or the Veterans Administration to be exempt from the
Affordable Care Act employer mandate for those employees.

The bill received bi-partisan support and is making its
way to the Senate.
|
|
The chairman of the Small Business Committee, Steve
Chabot view this as the first of many solutions that the new
congress will produce to help small businesses grow and
create jobs.

If the bill becomes law it is set to take effect months
beginning after December 31, 2013. |
