When you are the
sub-contractor you are not the contractor to whom the
contract was awarded, but rather, the contractor hired
by the Prime Contractor. The Prime Contractor is
the one who was awarded the contract by the client.
Subcontracting is another way to
increase revenues through government contracting.
If you are not able to become the Primary Contractor on
a project you may still be able to get in on the project
by becoming a Subcontractor to the Primary Contractor.
