The traffic light has been around for quite some time.  Don't you think it's time to do away with it.  Imagine the amount of time spent at intersections waiting for the light to change, even when there is no one else there except for you.  Far too much time is wasted waiting for the traffic light to change at intersections.  There has to be another way to move traffic through intersections without causing accidents without the traffic light.

 

 

2.  Shopping Experience                                             
Today the shopping experience consists of walking  into a store finding what you want to purchase on the shelves and walking to a cashier to make payment before walking out with what you want.  Fifty percent of the time is spent on finding what you want and fifty percent is spent waiting in line at the cashier.  What if you can walk in and walk out of a store with the items you want to purchase without making a stop at the cashier.  Think of the amount of time can be saved.  Think of the reduced cost to the business and the convenience to the customer.

 

 

3.  Credit Card Payments                                                                    
Credit card payments is the standard method of making purchases.  It require consumers to carry around multiple plastic cards in order to make purchases.  The current credit card technology is subjected to theft and fraudulent use.  What if there was a way to make credit card payments in a secure way with having to carry around multiple cards and such method would make it impossible for anyone to fraudulently obtain someone's credit information and use.  Such a system would find willing support from businesses and consumers alike.

 

 

4.  Identity Theft                                                      
Identity theft is a huge problem.  According to the Justice Department the average number of U.S. identity fraud victims annually is 11,571,900.  Some severn(7) percent U.S. households experience identity theft annually.  The financial lost comes to a total of $21 billion.  The best solutions on the market today involves you having to give up very personal information (such as bank account information, credit card information, etc.) to a third party for them to monitor your accounts.  Many consumers don't want to use these services because they have to turn over too much personal information to a third party.  What if there was a solution that is more personal in nature where the consumer does not have to give up their personal information to a third party.  Such a system can gain widespread acceptance if it is  totally at the control of the individual.


5.  New Type of Fast Food Restaurant                             
Fast food restaurants consists of the usual suspects; hamburger & fries, fried chicken, fish & chips, coffee & donuts, etc.  This presents an opportunity for something new in the fast food industry.  It's up to you to use your imagination to figure what that new type of fast food restaurant should be.

 


6.  My Shows                                                                                 
There a zillion tv channels and shows to choose from.  We don't have the time or desire to watch all of them.  We have our favorite shows that we want to watch.  Giving people the opportunity to watch their favorite tv shows when they want to can be a profitable business if done right.  That is, if you can figure out a way for people to pick and program their favorite shows to appear when they want them to.  Since the web is quickly becoming another source for programming people will want to be able to pick and view their favorite tv shows over the web


7.  Tupper Wear                                                         
The tupper-wear has been around for quite some time.  It's time for a replacement, don't you think?  Tupper-wear is bulky and they take up a lot of room.  Something more flexible and less rigid would be a fitting replacement.  Don’t you think?


8.  Stolen Automobiles                                           
According to the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration a motor vehicle is stolen every 44 seconds in the U.S. and only 52% of stolen vehicles are recovered.  The owner of most stolen vehicles don't know when the theft is in progress.  On-Star can help in identifying the location of stolen vehicles after they are stolen.  What if you can come up with a system that not only lets the user know the location of their stolen vehicle but also lets them know when it is being stolen.

If you utilize the washing machines in an apartment complex or the laundry down the street, wouldn't it be great if you could find out if they are not being utilized before you go to do your laundry.  This would save you plenty of time and headaches.  Millions of people live in apartment complexes who share washing machines with their neighbors or  utilize laundry services.  They will find such a system very useful.  It will enable them to better manage their time and still get their laundry done.  Be the one to device such a system.

The experience of going to a restaurant involves showing up with or without a reservation, ordering something off the traditional menu and enjoying the meal then pull out a credit card and pay for the meal.  What would the restaurant of the future look like?  Would the restaurant know that you're coming before you arrive?  Would they know what you want to order before you arrive?  Would you still need to pull out a credit card to pay for your meal?  Design the restaurant of the future.


13.  The Bar of The Future                                                   
The experience of going to a bar involves showing up and ordering drinks from the bartender or a waitress and paying for it with cash or credit card.  What would the bar of the future look like?  Would you ever need to talk to a bartender or waitress in order to get you drink?  Would you ever need to pull out your credit card in order to make a payment?  Design the bar of the guture.


14.  City Parking                                                        
If you own a car you've had to park in a public space at one time or another.  Parking is a big deal when you go downtown.  Knowing where parking is available and keeping the meters charged so you don't get a hefty fine is a big deal.  What if you could drive to any city in the U.S. and find a parking spot and pay for it without leaving your car?  No need to driver around in circles to find an empty slots.  No need to feed the meter.  Wouldn't that be wonderful.


15.  Access to Health Care                                                 
Who wants to revolutionize the medical industry?  Answer this question.  How will we access and use medical services in the future.  In the future everyone alive will have grown up fully embracing technology.  How will the technology of the future enable people to quickly access and the best doctors and medical services with having to make an appointment, get in their cars and drive to the doctor's office.
