A Day Spa is not something that exists everywhere, hence placing one in the right locale can prove to be profitable.  You can offer massages, facials and body treatments like sea salt scrubs or mud wraps, nail, hair, and tanning services. You can also offer professional spa products to purchase. With a large enough place you offer lockers, steam room and sauna. This is something you will need to have helpers on board to get started. State licensing may be required in order to provide certain services.  You will also need to procure the required products materials used to provide the services.

Often this type of service is combined with the services provided in a Beauty Salon.  But it can also be setup as a separate service.  The service provided is limited in scope (manicures and pedicures).  Sometimes facials and waxing is also thrown in to provide additional services.  Select a site close to your clients.

Start your own Retail Cosmetics Shop in an area that is not being served by one.  Find a good source of supply and find a location and setup shop.  You can start small (yourself or get family members to help out) then hire people as revenues increase.
